(Right now would be more radical.) You're so not near. (I'm wishing I could place a call.) And feel closer to you. Oh. Miles of air and road and land, They separate me from all my plans. We're havin' havin' havin' havin' fun, But something something tells me I miss someone. But I hope hope hope you didn't forget me I couldn't, Forget you the whole time I always knew. I've been seeking...never finding... [3/12/08; 03:32pm] [ mood | silly ] [ music | Morning Sun- Tea Leaf Green ] So thanks to a little cheering up, some Arrested Development, new music, and a two period school day… I’m happy again!   I can’t believe I’m leaving tomorrow...there are so many things and people I’ll miss and yet so many things to look forward to when I get back. ~Kristen and our school night “sleep”overs ~Emily’s awesome idea to have a set date to chat ~Kathleeeeeeeeeeeeeen! ~Game nights ~Riya, Jackie, Charlotte and Michelle obvz! ~Charlotte’s amazing advice ~A certain lethal distraction *coughdancough* ~Statistics ~My awesome gym class ~American Idol (my baby had better still be there when I get back) ~Tennis time with Steph and Jen and maybe Jared if he decides to grace us with his presence ~Chamber Singers (good luck guys!)   Half of me is really excited and the other half is like…blah. I think it’ll really hit me once we board the bus tomorrow. AH! Less than 24 hours! The first weekend we’re going to Malo’s country house with Evan, Hadrien, Payal, Antoine, and Arthur. Yay! It’s going to be so nice. Packing is so difficult! Shoes are so necessary but they take up so much room. And of course you have to pack lots of shirts so there are lots of choices and layering and gah! I also have to figure out how to work that voltage plug thingy-ma-bob so I can straighten my hair and charge my ipod. Operation GADBD was superfail. We’ll see what’s happened when I get back. In other more depressing news: I'm not staying with Arthur in France anymore. His sister passed away. Goodness gracious I feel so bad for him. This has been such a sad night. Someone cheer me up? mwah! [3/9/08; 07:50pm] [ mood | energetic ] [ music | So Small - Carrie Underwood ] I have been in a perpetual state of motion this weekend. In fact, today I woke up thinking it was Monday because I’d done so much work the night before. This has been the most productive weekend of my senior year. I finished some scholarships and lots of essays for various and sundry classes. I found some new music! That Song In My Head by Julianne Hough: “You caught me starin' at you But you smiled back at me Started swingin' that air guitar Man, you sure can play And I've had that song in my head all day” Anddd….So Small by Carrie Underwood “While you sit around thinking about what you can't change and worrying about all the wrong things time's flying by moving so fast you better make it count 'cause you can't get it back” so those are f’amazing and you should def listen. Random Thoughts: Laundry is so tedious! Holy crap it’s almost eight and I have two more things to finish. Ahhhhhh! Frustration! The power outage was crazy! I was so bored! I called Kristen and by the time we got off the phone the power was back on. Yay! I think I made a legit new friend. I just wish we could hang out without one or the other thinking it’s going to be awkward city! Time to go harass mom for more iTunes money and go to Starbucks with KP! If I Could I Would but I Don't Know How [3/9/08; 06:32pm] [ mood | calm ] [ music | If I Could - Phish ] Chamber Singers changed their repertoire for Roxbury. Thank God! They’re going to do Bonjour Mon Coeur which makes me really sad because I wanted to sing that. They’re also doing Koka…which I don’t have memorized so it’s good that I won’t be there. Good luck to them! I had my first guitar lesson on Tuesday night. That was f’awesome. I def need some work…def…but practice makes perfect. And then…he wouldn’t let me pay…what the hell! Gahh! So I’m def. not going to drink in France. I came to this conclusion thanks to some awesome advice from someone, seeing what’s happened to various other people on trips, and surprisingly…Seventeen…which basically reiterated all the points given by the afore-mentioned person. It’s just not me. I loved HSPA week. It was just what I needed right after the musical. Hey hey heyyyyyy! I miss having AP Stats though. That class is fantabulous. “Jared, Elijah, Rosie, Kathleen, Dustin, and I will run a two tailed T test…”              American Idol results show on tonight! Jason is too amazing to get kicked off. Top 100 on iTunes bee-yotch! “and I said…I…I just wanna be your everything.”             I played tennis with Andrew Corbin on Tuesday!!!! I’ve missed that kid. Then we went to his house and he played a video game (lame!) and taught me a chord or two and we sang a little and stuff. It’s like having another younger brother. Now I have to drive him to Chamber Singers rehearsal. comment
